Bio
Martinus Henricus Valentinus Werts (b. 1972, Westerhoven, the Netherlands) carried out his Ph.D. work on the design and applications of luminescent lanthanide complexes at the University of Amsterdam under the guidance of J.W. Verhoeven et J.W. Hofstraat. After a post-doctoral stay with Jean-Philippe Bourgoin at the CEA in Saclay (near Paris) during which he worked on gold nanoparticles for molecular electronics, he became a CNRS research fellow at the laboratoire 'Chimie & Photonique Moléculaires' at the University of Rennes, where he worked with Mireille Blanchard-Desce and colleagues. He obtained a 'Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches' in 2008. In 2009, he moved to the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan/Bretagne where he develops his research in the BIOMIS unit of the SATIE laboratories.
Martinus Henricus Valentinus WERTS (né en 1972 à Westerhoven, Pays-Bas) a fait sa thèse à l'Université d'Amsterdam sous la direction des professeurs J.W. Verhoeven et J.W. Hofstraat sur la conception et les applications des complexes luminescents de lanthanides. Après un séjour post-doctoral chez Jean-Philippe Bourgoin au CEA/Saclay, où il a travaillé sur des nanoparticules pour l'électronique moléculaire, il a été recruté au CNRS en tant que chargé de recherche dans le laboratoire 'Chimie & Photonique Moléculaires' à l'Université de Rennes. Il a obtenu l'Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches en 2008. En 2009 il s'est installé à l'Ecole Normale Supérieure de Bretagne où il poursuit ses recherches dans l'équipe BIOMIS du laboratoire SATIE.
